While Europeans will receive eventually receive a PC-DVD release of Silent Hill: Homecoming , Konami has confirmed with Joystiq that North Americans will only be able to purchase the PC edition via Valve's digital distribution platform Steam.

No reason was specified for the decision.
Developed by Double Helix, the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 survival horror title arrives in North America this September, followed by a European release in November.

Системные требования игры нигде не озвучиваются, лишь одни догадки. По логике можно предположить, что взяв любой свежий хит выпущеный одновременно на ПК и на ПС3 и ИКС-БОКС-360 можно увидить и потребность Нового Сайлента. Думаю потребности у НекстГен игр почти одинаковы.

Судя по геймпленым роликам игру вполне можно было выпустить и на ПС 2)) Понятно, что это все предварительно, может что-то подправят, но кардинально ничего не изменится. Графика мягко говоря не впечатлила. Для ПС 2 графика очень хорошая, для некстген....ИМХО очень слабо, вся надежда на сюжет, атмосферу итд).

I sent Valve (Steam Parent) an email regarding the PC release on Steam.

I asked them when they update the "coming soon" list on the website. Also if people from other countries can download US PC version.
