Nope I can't. I think there are 2 possibilities for fixing the problem with modchips

1) Recode the modchip firmware so it can hook more friendly.
2) Recode the PSBBN so it can run applications as standard ELF (instead of MagicGate KryptoELF).

Not in my competence unfortunately.

Okay, I've installed Ubuntu 11.04. Not the latest version because it doesn't work in my old computer. It's a damn system resource eater, slow as f*ck compared to 6.10, but it works. Sooooooo... I'm back to the project.

I can't tell you when I'll publish my next dump, BUT it will be worth the wait. Take a look at this :

What you see here, is the Unclejun's BB Channels backup archive, running on PSBBN 0.32 A2, with Richi's English translation. Channel pages are hosted on my private server and will be publicly accessible::dirol:: with my forthcoming PSBBN dumps.

Due to the massive amount of Jap texts, I think I will not fully translate the PSBBN, but optimize Richi's files (add capitals, correct typos, fix broken syntax...).

Yes, all channels are in Japanese. Most pages can be translated but I have not planned to do it, because the point of archiving old PSBBN channels is to access the "athentical" thing. Maybe this will be done later although.

The making of the next dump will take a long time. Channels archive is full of dead links that may break the navigation and force you to reboot the console. A lot of fixes in perspective.
Richi made a demonstration video a few months ago :
It clearly shows that links to games are broken in the Hudson Channel. Richi has directly linked Hudson games to the channel selector to launch them. My goal is to "restore" broken links, so the contents can be accessed from its original access point (from the Hudson Channel menu itself).

Trying to crack PSBBN 0.20 now. I understood the boot sequence (differs from 0.30/0.31/0.32) and been able to start it. Works fine. But now I'm facing a difficulty. When going online, the PSBBN searches for available upgrade and force you to install it. I've disabled it in 0.30, without any problem. 0.20 does not like it :

Nothing happens after that error message. No main menu, just the background image.
Got to investigate more and find another way to fool the upgrade installer...

Выкладываю свой дамп жёсткого диска на основе переведённого BB Navigator. Содержит
- Bishi Bashi Special 3 [PP.SLBB-00001]
- DVD Player Version 3.02D (Russian, RPC-1 Hacked) [PP.DVD302D]
- HDD Software Version 1.10U (Custom Build - BootBrowser Arg) [PP.HDD110U]
- PlayStation BB Navigator Version 0.32 (A2) [PP.PSBBN032]
- Open PS2 Loader rev641gsm036v1 [PP.SLPM-12345.OPL.OPL]
- uLaunchelf 4.40h with extended HDD support [PP.SLPS-00001.BOOT.BOOT]


Все программы 100% рабочие как при запуске через BB Navigator, так и при запуске через HDD Software Version 1.10U. При запуске OPL есть возможность через встроенное в него меню запускать программы SMS, ESR, LbFn (это японский аналог мюланча), а также специально скомпилированный мною pGen с возможностью запуска игр с жёсткого диска. Одна тестовая игра хранится в PP.SLPM-12345.OPL.OPL/APPS/GEN. Также есть возможность запускать тот же самый ОПЛ только уже не встроенный, а обычный. По непонятным причинам не удалось запустить мюланч (вообще никакой) через ОПЛ. При запуске экран чернеет и всё. При этом неважно сколько раз ты выходил или заходил в программы мюланч не запускается как обычная прога - только через меню жёсткого. Скорее всего проблема в кривом OPL, но мало ли.
Возникли сразу 3 вопроса:
1) Возможно ли уменьшить размер дампа ещё больше? 2) Есть ли возможность запускать HDD Software Version 1.10U или BB Navigator как обычные программы через обычный ELF? Например просто запустив ELF из uLaunch?
3) Каким образом можно смонтировать в ubuntu этот жёсткий диск с его разделами? Я пробовал по разному - никак не получается.

После проверки выяснилось, что на консолях отличных от 3-4 поколений homebrew приложения не запускаются.
