...Ladies and Gentleman... I've got a serious problem... When I want to configure a Cdrom plugin (in ePSXe), it says: 'Error loading WNASPI32.DLL'... I've already tried to download and install different versions of emulators, plugins and BOIS files, but it's always the same!... It's kinda weird... I just don't know what to do... So if anyone knows what the hell is that, PLEASE HELP!...

...Awwww, it's killing me!... Now it says: 'Error in init aspi (235)'... What a stupid programm!... But that's really strange... I have recently changed my PC... And when I used the old one, every programm and plugin worked correctly... As for my new 'machine' - ePSXe started malfunctioning... But why?... OS is the same on both PCs (Windows XP)... Antivirus is taking care of all the threats... And the whole emulators were installed in the same way... I don't get it... Sometimes it's just easer to drop dead than to understand some of those upredictable things...

First try reinstall your Windows? cuz some ASPI CD driver incorrect (maybe you use some virtual CD programms) and if that not help you ....Let that programm go to hell!... ))) Old real PSX is better then emulator!

It isn't need. I had this problem. Reinstall emulator and try change cd plugin on another. What is your OS?

What epsxe cdrom plugin are you trying to use?
For XP or Vista you have to use ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 170.
For Windows 98 ePSXe CDR Aspi core 170.

It says: 'Error loading WNASPI32.DLL' or 'Error in init aspi (235)'... My OS is a typical Windows XP... And there was XP on the PC I had earlier, but there weren't any errors...

...That's right... I use that plugin... But I need to change the letter of CDrom... And thats the time when it says 'Error'...

and why you want use CDdrive? you want kill your CDdrive?!

...I have mounted a CD image into the Daemon Tools Lite... So the programm must use VIRTUAL CDdrive instead of a real one... That's why I need to change the letter of CDrom...

...My real CDrom is marked by '(I:)' letter... And virtual - by '(L:)'... ePSXe reads (I:), and I need to make it read (L:), but I can't do that because of those stupid errors... I've also tried to use 'Run ISO' command, but there are some games that can't be loaded like that...

2 or use this Reg file, this contained need letter to you. just Click or double Click then say Yes.

1 select Start, then select Run, type regedit, then select My Computer->HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->epsxe->config->CdromLetter
currently this contain digits 73 but they correspond to letter I:\ you need change it to 76 this is letter L:\
