Poy Poy 2 is the sequel to a Konami game of 1997 that is a throwing and dodging game. There are a variety of technique is either throwing or dodging making it hard to master but easy to win.
Poy Poy 2 is just as quirky as it’s predecessor and the introduction of the higher ground gives it a slight depth the original lacked but fundamentally it’s exactly the same game! Matches are divided into three rounds. Each round ends when one character is left standing, or when all characters are knocked out resulting in a draw. At the end of the round, you’re awarded points based on direct hits, luck, and round bonus. Direct hits are what they sound like, but don’t include most glove attacks or bomb radius damage. Luck is earned by collecting white heart/cloud items that appear out of the wooden crates. The round bonus is granted based on what order you were eliminated (first eliminated gets 0 points, the other three get varying amounts of points). Whoever has the most total points at the end wins. GAME MODES (in order from top to bottom): - Party Play: This is for playing the game where all the characters fight against each other. This is recommended for beginners. - PoyPoy Cup: This is the story mode. You will have to buy your glove according to your synchronization rate. The higher the rate to a certain character, the more powerful he/she using the glove. - Team Battle: For this mode, you can team up with you friend and play against the computer's team (2 players).
