Sony Utility Discs Compilation 1 is a homemade compilation of hacked update discs.
It contains :
DVD Player Version 2.10 (Europe)
DVD Player Version 2.12 (USA)
HDD Utility Disc Version 1.00 (USA)
HDD Utility Disc Version 1.10 (USA)
Utility Disc Version 1.00 HDD (Japan)
PlayStation BB Navigator Version 0.30 (Japan)
PlayStation BB Navigator Version 0.32 (Japan)
Most hacked builds contained in this compilation HAVE NOT been tested.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK !
Here you can find a nice English installation guide for the PlayStation BB Navigator : http://bungiefan.tripod.com/
To install DVD Player firmwares, you need a console that matches its MagicGate region; otherwise the installation process will fail.
To use HDD softwares, you need an official HDD (SCPH-20401) and an official Network Adaptor.
If you want to format your HDD and if the utility fails to do it, use the latest version of uLaunchElf (MISC/HddManager/Format).

I'm getting sick, SICK, sIIIIIIIck of bugfixing
and ruining shitloads of blank discs.
Gonna hang myself. This project is neverending.
2006 to 2011, goddamnit duuuuuuuuuude...

This credits-styled hacklog is FUCKING UGLY
Logging out...
For my tests, I used :
A PAL European SCPH-39004 console (no modchip)
A PAL Swap Magic Version 3.6 CD
An official SCPH-10350 FXN network adaptor
An official SCPH-10020 K PS2 memory card
I don't have an official HDD so I couldn't verify the region free HDD softwares=(. It kicked me to the internal CDVD/MC browser so I assume it's OK.
The HDD I used is an ExcelStor J680 (80 GB), 7200 RPM, ATA100, firmware revision V320A60A, date code 20030822, jumpers set to cable select (16 heads).
A new build has been posted !
Nothing new in this one. Just two corrections :
** Disc boot fix **
Someone reported that the previous build (labeled "Queen of the Fiesta") couldn't boot with a particular modchip.
I've removed crosslinked entries in the TOC and authored the disc with Sony's CD/DVD-ROM Generator. Problem solved.
** Corrected typos in DETAILS.TXT **
Well, English is not our mother tongue. It was loaded of senseless Frenglish statements. Corrected some, hope I didn't add more.
This new build is recommended only if the previous compilation disc doesn't boot.
