DESCRIPTION

Kamen Rider (translated as Masked Rider, is a weekly sci-fi story created by Japanese mangaka Shotaro Ishinomori. It debuted as a tokusatsu television series on April 3, 1971 and ran until February 10, 1973, airing on the Mainichi Broadcasting System and NET TV (now TV Asahi). A manga adaptation was also featured in Shonen Magazine around the same period.

Although each entry in the series is different, each one shares similar traits with one and another. All generally involve at least one young adult male transforming into a Kamen Rider to fight various monsters and organizations linked to that specific Kamen Rider's origin. As the series progresses, the Rider often learns more about the monsters in the series, other Kamen Riders or the origin of his powers. Early Kamen Riders were generally based on grasshoppers, but this practice has only been done twice in the newer set of shows. Usually referred to as Rider Machines.

Kamen Rider is the first game released for the Playstation One consoled based on the popular serie, the game features these game Modes:
- 1P Game - Play against the computer.
- 2P Game - Play againt another human player
- Team Battle - Choose some characters for your team and fight other teams.
- Survival Mode - Choose a character to fight againt all the enemies. In this mode the damage that the character acquired in a fight will be carried on to the next fight, but it will be decreased a bit.
- Fight The Army - In this mode the player fights many enemies at once.
- Practice Mode - Choose a character, an opponent and train with him.
- Card Collection - When you finish a 1 Player game, you will see that in the menu place.
