Well, if your HDDs are rejected by the Utility Disc, let's try the radical way....... cloning

!
The concept : Writing a mini-dump of my HDD to yours.
WARNING : This will permanently delete/overwrite the contents of your HDD. Follow this tutorial at your own risks.
- Download and extract my mini-dump (compressed : ~103MB, extracted : ~9,6GB !)
- Connect your PS2 HDD to your computer
- This is optional but recommended : wipe your PS2 HDD with
HDD Wipe Tool. If HDD Wipe Tool doesn't work for some reason, try formating your HDD with
HDD Low Level Format Tool.
- Write my mini-dump (PSBBN032_A2_KHNHDD.IMG) to your PS2 HDD using
HDD Raw Copy Tool (HDDRawCopy1.02Portable.exe)
Нажмите

1) Here we have to select the
SOURCE. Click
FILE and select my
PSBBN032_A2_KHNHDD.IMG file;
2) Click continue...

1) Here we have to choose the
TARGET HDD. Select your
PS2 HDD in the list.
MAKE SURE IT IS YOUR PS2 HDD AND NOT ONE OF YOUR PC HDDS.
2) Click continue...

1) Click continue;
2) The "warning" message appears. Make sure it shows the name of your
PS2 HDD then click Yes

When the copy is over and successful, the log says "Task complete" and obviously "100% complete". You can close HDD Raw Copy Tool, remove your HDD and test it in your PS2.
I've tested the whole thing myself with a Maxtor 92049U6 HDD (20,49 GB) and it worked.
I just hope you don't get a DNAS failure at BBN startup. The online authentification gathers iLink ID and stuff from your machine. Because the BBN installation is a "clone", the DNAS may deny you to go online, or even worse, ban your console.... If you get a red sceen at BBN startup saying "DNAS blablabla" you are out of luck.
Please tell me if this method worked. And if it worked, I'll make a mini-dump of the HDD-OSD A4.
