I'm looking to edit a texture or 3D model in crash bandicoot roms using CrashEdit but I can't understand what I need to change
1. Mounting the ROM
2. Opening a NSF file to make changements

Like I said, you're much more likely to get a good answer over at romhacking.net. They have a l lot of people there who know this kind of stuff very well.
There are som guys here that can get technical as well, but there are many more over there, and so the probability of you getting help with this question there is considerably higher than here.


Right off the bat, I can think of two people on this site who might (that means maybe) be able to help you, DruchaPucha or brill.

Minecapo, I far as I know CrashEdit can edit only Crash 2. Other games it can only view. And what models would you like to replace and for what?

I'd like to extract model of any character from Crash Bandicoot 3 and set it to a character of Crash Bandicoot 1 furthermore I'd like to do something like this:OPEN THE SPOILER
